I decided that whomever its job it is to put fecal material on slides and into petri dishes for examination probably isn't being payed enough...
I called the doctor's office today and the initial report in is that so far, Beani does NOT have any form of bacterial infection like e coli, salmonella etc. so that is good! Yeah! They are still waiting for the parasite testing to come in, however. The one thing they are testing him for is Cryptodporidium--a small parasite that is typically caught in pools, etc. It is similar to the nastiness Liam had last year. As of today he still has the big D--that makes nearly 18 days for the poor guy. Luckily, the frequency in which he is going has slowed down markedly-so that is good. I have a feeling we might be rounding the bend with it all. I should know more by the end of the week.
PS-I hope that I won't need to talk this much about poop again, anytime soon.
