Art Camp--A Success!

The verdict is in...the kids LOVE Art Camp! I was so impressed by the program that I wish *I* could be enrolled. Everyday the children start out class with an easy to jump into art piece, followed by a break in the dancing studio, snack, dramatic play and a story. Each week the class will focus on different themes and explore different cultures from around the world. They sent home a reading list of books that coincide with the subject for that week and snack suggestions to go along with the theme. Liam *LOVED* it--as did a very shy Sam. When I got home after the first day Liam was so excited to tell me about everything they did and showed me some spins that the dancing instructor taught them. He also informed me that "a nice boy said hi to me then drew a picture of me riding my bike! So I drew him a picture." (cute). Emily texted me today to inform me that Liam had a blast at camp again today--which is so good to hear.
