Merry Christmas Eve

I am currently sitting by the Christmas tree watching Beanie bat at the bulbs (repeatedly) and fretting over the neighbor's blown over reindeer decoration. "mommy! Reindeer BOOM! Mommy! Reindeer bwoken?" When I say that he has been staring out the window fretting about the reindeer for AN HOUR I am not exaggerating-this is why I am now by the tree. I got tired of being drug over to the window every 30 seconds. Ken went out to shovel the drive and said he was going to go over and club the reindeer to put us out of our misery. When Beanie gets ahold of something (idea, toy, etc.) he does NOT LET GO. I suspect he is the child equivalent of a pit bull...

It is a beautiful day here, albeit very cold. The snow started falling Tuesday night and we now have about 6 inches. Just the right amount for Santa to make a landing. Liam has been tracking Santa on NORAD already. We are going to call them soon to get a status report on Santa's coordinates. We are going to finish frosting our cookies when Beanie takes a nap. We are having friends over for the annual Jenner Christmas Eve Fondue and Wine fest. It is always fun. I have been very stressed out about getting everything done in time for Christmas and Ken finally pointed out to me that I needed to cut myself some slack. I have been staying up late every night to try to get the Grandparent's gifts together and then up early every morning (because Beanie is suddenly waking up before 6am raring to go) and I am pooped. So that being said...I will NOT be getting the grandparent's gifts sent out before Christmas. I am about 98% done but they will not be mailed out until next week (realistically). So I apologize to everyone--there is a gift coming but it will be there next week. I tried my best but just couldn't get it pulled together. Once I realized this and let it go mentally I am much more relaxed. I got the boys their gifts late Tuesday night and wrapped them last night so we are good to go. Now we can just sit back (ha ha) and enjoy the day and not go out at all (except for maybe a run).

Merry Christmas everyone. Love and hugs to you all...
