ME: "Hey Liam, can you please open the garage door so Mommy can put all this recycling in there??"
LIAM: (opens the door to the garage and then opens the garage door)
ME: "No buddy, I didn't mean the garage door, i meant open the door to the garage. Please shut the garage door now"
LIAM: (looks confused)
ME: "You know what buddy, I'm sorry. I am not being very clear, am I?"
LIAM: (in all seriousness) "Mommy, I don't know what you are talking about! Were you speaking in a different language???!"
ME: "Sometimes it sure feels that way..."
