This week marks my official entry into "part-time employee for corporate America" and my entry into "part-time-but-hopefully-soon-to-be-full-time-independent-artist-for-hire-type." So far, I am behind in all things. I have found having a part-time here, part-time THERE schedule, I am unable to complete 3/4 of the things I want or should (mostly, the things for me). Why do I always seem to only half succeed at everything?
Grant it, it has only been a few days but somehow I feel this is a sign of things to come. I have a few projects brewing in the horizon...which is good (or at least potentially good, I don't consider anything a done deal until a contract is signed). Although I am now starting to realize trying to juggle both things (part-time for them and part-time for me) might leave me with even less time then before. Ironic, no?
PS-I uploaded a new blog layout with some new features. It's still not a blog o' my dreams but I like it more then before and even better, I didn't have to be the one to design it. Because sometimes, (here lately, MOST times), I am just too pooped to engage that part of my brain for myself.
