So this morning Liam asked me randomly, "Mommy, what is diarrhea????" Momentarily shocked and worried I glanced over to make sure that the reason he was asking me that question wasn't because he was experiencing it himself. So I answered him in the most elementary and honest way possible "Diarrhea is when you have LOTS of poop that comes out fast and somewhat watery. WHY Liam? Why are you asking????" Liam quickly answers "No Mommy. That is NOT diarrhea. Diarrhea is when stuff comes out of your mouth fast and then you eat cake."
?????????!!!!!
Yeah, I have no idea either. And I'm not so sure I am comfortable with him associating diarrhea with mouth and cake...
